"Inflated Duo" is a captivating installation that invites viewers into a dialogue about connection, pressure, and the intricate balance of systems. Exhibited at the Contemporary Art Fair in Istanbul in 2014, this work features two large balloons, each containing four smaller interconnected balloons, all linked by flexible tubes. The installation operates through a sophisticated switchboard controlled via an app, allowing for real-time manipulation or a preset scenography of the air distribution from one compressor.

The visual and conceptual interplay within "Inflated Duo" is striking. Each balloon acts as an organelle, representing individual components of a larger organism, while the entire setup symbolizes a cohesive yet complex body. The fluctuating pressure within the balloons serves as a metaphor for the dynamic relationships between parts and the whole, evoking notions of interdependence and connectivity. The artwork encourages viewers to contemplate the balance between autonomy and reliance, as each balloon expands and contracts in response to the app's commands.
As spectators engage with the installation, they witness a living system in motion, reflecting the organic processes that govern life. The contrasting pressures create a visual spectacle, drawing attention to the beauty of both isolation and connection.
