The Forsen Building, combines a showroom for industrial equipment for cranes and office space, located in Gebze, Turkiye, within the Dilovasi Industrial Zone at the intersection of the TEM and the D100 highway. Constructed in 2006, the building features a design characterized by its triangular plot and prismatic forms, employing reinforced concrete and steel panels.

Forsen Makina Servis Ticaret AS, the client for this project, is approaching its 20th year in the industry, specializing in the sale of Sennebogen cranes and serving as the Turkish distributor for Jenzer and its brand, Rotobec. The scale of Forsen's operations as a company that also provides professional service, spare parts, and handling machines including harbor, recycling, and construction crane sets the requirements for this building for the education and service of these advanced machines. The program of the building part industrial showroom and office on a major highway dictated the articulation of the facade with a system of panels to reduce road noise on one side of the building and the other facade open to the view and southern light with prominent glazing. Also orientation for the mensa areas shading and protection was provided from the western light as a further response to the mix of programmatic and climactic factors in the architectural solution.
The design approach emphasizes a pure orientation to form, employing a structural tectonic perspective that enhances the industrial architecture's clarity and functionality. The building consists of three main levels: storage areas in the basement, offices at the entrance and mezzanine levels, and a training and dining hall located on the roof. The architecture provides a lively architectonic approach with concrete and steel in line with the technical nature of the client's industrial products. The robust structure allows for the creation of a double height space in the interior to provide space for the industrial equipment on display but also to provide a sense of space and light for the staff and visitors.
